My most favorite feature about the Interscope DLC, Mixtape is the ecosystem. However, that’s not necessary at all to the gameplay itself. But the experience of standing in a garage seeing cars bounce with the beat is something that fascinates Beat Saber environments. Beat Saber often avails abstract geometry and so many radiant colored lights. It’s cumulatively more toned down, yet more enthralling than the symbol view of most Beat Saber environment.

My Favorite Beat Saber Environment.

My most favorite two tracks in the pack are Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO and DNA by Kendrick Lamar. However, the DNA track stands out in the pack of 7 tracks. I feel that tracks that follow some genres with lots of energy usually cost fair with Saber’s gameplay.

Both the tracks stood out for me due to some reasons. Not merely because their beats suit the formula well, but because they incorporate some outstanding beatmaps that suit the tracks. Party Rock Anthem includes a swath of nicely shaped walls and broad swing blocks to make you dance.

DNA incorporates a million oscillating movements and arm-crossing swings that match perfectly with the beats. Both of them feel so good to play, and the increasing difficulty levels feel incredibly consistent.

Others are Just Kind of Boring

Honestly, the rest five songs in this pack are merely kind of boring. There is nothing bad with the tracks themselves, but they don’t include the energy that fits in Beat Saber’s formula. Also, the beatmaps seemed a little dull relatively several of the best Beat Saber tracks.

Summarizing all, most of these tracks have a distinct level of euphoria relatively bangers. Bangers like Rattlesnake (Monstercat Volume 1), Boundless (Monstercat Volume 1), Reason for Living (OST 3), or more from the BTS pack. I chose some of my favorites, but these are my favorites because of some reason. They’re fun to hear, and they motivate you to attempt to beat them again repeatedly. Most of this related to the tracks themselves, but it also related to the beats. Beatmaps is the term for the sequence the blocks are sorted in a manner to suit the song.

However, in several manners, it feels somewhat damping. OST 4 was launched in March 2021. However, at least OST 4’s tracks seemed like they suit better with Beat Saber’s type. For me, this specific mixtape feels a little similar in respect to the Timbaland pack that was introduced last year. The dissimilarity is that even those sober songs feel more fitting to Beat Saber’s energy than the rest of the five tracks.

However, some people will likely enjoy the somewhat sober touch of most of these songs in the pack. But there’s also a different exiguity of modes that exists for these tracks. Merely the dual-saber mode exists for all of the seven tracks, which means no 90, 180, or 360-degree modes or single-saber mode. You can play these songs via multiplayer but only as with the other DLC mixtape.

The protective “Sapphire Shield” remained scratch-free during testing. But it easily picks up reflections outside, more than other devices with Gorilla Glass. It wasn’t enough to stress me, but someone willing to use the device outside in bright sunlight might find it problematic.

The Kyocera DuraForce comprises a Snapdragon 765G fast processor with 6GB RAM. It keeps the device’s overall performance equal to any midrange phone. There’s some breakthrough when scrolling hastily over screens with several images and videos. And an observable pause post clicking a photo in the camera. Otherwise, it works well, especially pondering the lower performance bar in the arduous category.

It includes a 4,500mAh in-built battery. It has a comparatively long battery life for the rugged class. It enables me a full day of medium to heavy use. The device supports Qi wireless charging, which is extravagant among rugged devices. The DuraForce Ultra 5G phone was a bit spitfire on a stand-style Belkin wireless charger.
