HP Announces New Line Of Omen And Other Gaming Laptops

 HP has launched several new Omen gaming products, including the HP Omen 16 gaming laptop. It’s a reimagining of the HP Omen 15, with a bigger, better screen, upgraded hardware, and some changes to the designs.

An improved Omen 17, a new midrange and budget-friendly gaming laptop brand named HP Victus, and a new 25-inch Omen gaming monitor are among the other highlights of the announcement.

OMEN 16

The HP Omen 16’s main feature is a larger 16.1-inch screen that fits within a standard 15-inch chassis, according to HP. It boasts a 3ms response time and a QHD (2560 x 1440) 165Hz screen. 1080p panels are, of course, also available in more cost-effective versions.

The first laptop to feature in the Victus line is the 16-inch budget-friendly laptop. You can choose from Intel’s Core i7–11800H or AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800H CPUs and Nvidia’s RTX 3060 or AMD’s Radeon RX 5500M GPUs for this one’s processor and graphics.

You can even get a 1440p display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.

HP Victus 16 will start at $800 for AMD and $850 for the Intel version. Shipping for Victus 16 will begin in June, similar to Omen 16 and 17.

OMEN 25i Gaming Monitor

With AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync technology, it’s a 24.5-inch FHD IPS monitor with narrow bezels and adaptive sync to remove visual artifacts in games. A 165Hz frame rate, 1ms reaction time, and a color-accurate picture with 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut are also essential features.

The shipping of Omen 25i will begin in July with a price tag of $349.99.
